Sili Bake Pastry Mat


I was excited to receive this mat. And, it worked great the first time I used it. It is lightweight and thin, so it rolls up nicely for storage. I made pizza dough on it, and it did not stick. However, after I wiped it off, I noticed that the edges are not sealed. There are little pieces of fibre (plastic or fiberglass?) coming off of the mat. I tried to see if I could just pull it off, but when I did that, it seemed to start things unraveling and more fibres came off. I am not comfortable using this for food, because I would not want those fibres to be ingested by my family. I received this at a discount. This is my honest and unbiased review.
